In a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing, Sen. Booker asked a straightforward question to Eric Chunyee Tung — nominee for U.S. Circuit Judge for the Ninth Circuit:
Did he agree with his friend Mike Davis, founder of the Article 3 Project, that Democrats are “relentless” and “evil”?
After far too much hesitation and evasion, Mr. Tung finally gave the only acceptable answer: No.
At a time of dangerous division and rising political violence, this should not be a hard question to answer.
Simple questions deserve simple answers.
