UNION CITY, NJ – Saturday, March 15, Enroll America will bring the Get Covered America campaign to Hudson County for a bilingual education and enrollment event to engage members of the Latino community across North Jersey at Union City’s Housing Authority Pavilion. The family-friendly event will offer participants one-on-one information assistance, free in-person enrollment help from trained professionals, health screenings from health companies across the State, light refreshments, along with educational giveaways and fun activities for children.

The event will be cohosted by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), Exodus Church, Hispanic Federation, Hispanic Federation, Horizon Health Center, North Hudson Action Corp Community Health Center, Save Latin America, Urban League of Hudson County, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, and United Pharmacy.

A press availability will be held at the beginning of the event and include: U.S. Senator Robert Menendez, U.S. Senator Cory Booker, Congressman Albio Sires, and U.S. Secretary of the Department of Education Arne Duncan.

New Jersey residents interested in attending and enrolling on site are encouraged to bring the following documents: income verification (four pay stubs or a W-2 from the previous year), a photo identification state issued (includes a driver’s license or state identification), and a social security card or residency status documentation.
