U.S. Senator Booker’s Statement on My Brother’s Keeper Initiative Task Force Report

Washington, DC – U.S. Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ) today issued a statement following the release of My Brother’s Keeper 90-day Recommendation Report:

“I wholeheartedly agree with the recommendations outlined today in the My Brother’s Keeper Initiative Task Force report and look forward to working with my colleagues in Congress to move this important agenda forward. The disparities in opportunity that persist in disadvantaged communities hamper the potential of our young men of color. All of us have a moral obligation to be our brother’s keeper. We all play a role in uplifting these young people and setting them on a path to succeed. Only by acting together can we ensure that our youth have every opportunity possible to excel and contribute to our global competitiveness as a nation.”
