NEWARK, N.J. — Today, U.S. Senator Cory Booker (D-N.J.) released his annual Veterans Handbook—a comprehensive resource guide for New Jersey veterans and their families. The handbook, accessible on Booker’s website here, includes information on health benefits, crisis support services, federal and state education programs, and employment resources. The Veterans Handbook also includes information on the PACT Act of 2022, a new law signed by President Biden to significantly expand VA benefits for veterans who were exposed to burn pits, Agent Orange, and other toxic substances while they were serving our country in the military.

“America’s veterans have helped to ensure that all Americans can enjoy the benefits of freedom that allow them to reach their fullest potential. We owe them and their families an immeasurable debt we can never repay,” said Senator Booker. “To help commemorate Veterans Day, I am proud to release this handbook that provides New Jersey’s 350,000 veterans and their families information on accessing critical services, from healthcare benefits and employment programs, to the benefits and services stemming from the PACT Act.”
