Lee Ann Howell is a nurse living in Washington, Pa. As a mother, a grandmother and a woman with three types of cancer and a heart condition, Lee knows that cuts to Medicaid would be devastating for her and her family. Lee Ann’s 9-year-old son is autistic, and without Medicaid, he’d go months without therapy care; her grandson would not have received a hearing aid, and her 23-year-old child that has a traumatic brain injury would not receive the care he needs.
