WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senators Robert Menendez and Cory Booker today applauded the confirmation of Judge Madeline Cox Arleo to the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.
“Madeline Cox Arleo is the kind of judge we look to—the kind of person we look to—when we think of the notion of equal dispensation of justice under law,” said Sen. Menendez, who nominated Judge Arleo for appointment. “She is a New Jerseyan who—in her life and career—has embodied the qualities of respect for justice and the rule of law we look for in all of our judicial nominees. She has also demonstrated an impressive ability to manage complex legal cases throughout the course of her career and is clearly the best choice to serve New Jersey as District Court Judge.”
“I commend Judge Madeline Cox Arleo for her years of dedicated service and commitment to the people of New Jersey and congratulate her as she embarks on the distinct honor of serving as a District Court Judge,” said Sen. Booker. “Our state stands to benefit greatly from Judge Madeline Cox Arleo’s continued leadership in this new role and I am confident she will continue to serve our community well.”
